2011 Dealership Family Picnic
It had all the makings of a real ugly afternoon. The weather forecast was
for stormy skies. Yet, despite the dubious weather forecast, the afternoon
was absolutely beautiful and a record crowd gathered for this annual
event. In the annual softball showdown, sales nipped service in an
exciting nail-biter and high-scoring affair, 21-20. There were some
words that came from the service dugout with a "just wait til next year"

Global Imports Technician In "Wing Foot" ATC Publication!
Global Imports BMW US-Sweden Polo InvitationalSunday, October 17th, Global Imports sponsored an afternoon of Polo, hosted at
Chukkar Farm. The Global Imports BMW US-Sweden Polo Invitational was
organized by the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce to promote equestrian
ties between the US and Sweden. The weekend festivities were quite exciting for both
team's players, as well as for patrons, consulates, and sponsor spectators. The 170-
acre farm was the perfect location for the weekend event, with matches on both Friday

"Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research" Fundraiser
Saturday, October 10th, Global Imports sponsored the third-annual Polo For
Parkinson's fund-raising event, where all proceeds benefited Team Fox for
Parkinson's Research! In addition polo, there was live music, concessions,
and a silent auction at Chukkar Farm. The best news of all, $66,500 was
raised from the charity event to directly benefit Parkinson's Research funding!

Global Imports BMW and "Ageless Dreams"
Sunwest Management started a program called Ageless Dreams, which helps to facilitate some
"bucket list" ideas of their residents. Hank Fein, an 85 year old resident of Terrace at Woodstock, an
assisted living facility, operated by Sunwest Management, visited Global Imports BMW to participate in
his Ageless Dream.
Hank has always enjoyed and been interested in Germany, German engineering, and German-made
products. It is no wonder he took a liking to the administrator's BMW, commenting frequently about how
great it looked and sounded. The BMW had been purchased at Global Imports BMW and the idea was
hatched to surprise Hank with a dream trip to Global Imports for a tour, a ride, lots of interesting
conversation, and a BMW shirt and cap, which are now among Hank's prized possessions!
Global BMW Sandy Springs Cycling Challenge
For the third straight year, the Sandy Springs Cycling Challenge was named, sponsored and
paced by Global Imports BMW. The Global Imports Sandy Springs Cycling Challenge
is the final of the USA CRITS racing series that takes place across the southeast.
The event attracts amateur and professional racers alike, competing in their appropriate
categories. There is also a gallery of artists, food and drink vendors and throngs of fans who

5 Series Ultimate Drive EventGlobal Imports BMW hosted BMW North America's Ultimate Driving Event in
which over 175 pre-registered guests could test drive a variety of new BMW
models, with the all-new BMW 5 Series serving as the main attraction. The
daylong event was broken into eight driving sessions where drivers could drive
their choice of BMW models, as well as competitors, such as the Mercedes Benz
350, Lexus GS350, and IS350 over a six mile course. BMW North America
furnished a team of product specialists, the fleet of BMW's and competitive
vehicles, and Global planned, coordinated, and executed the rest of the event.
