2023 BMW X7 vs 2023 BMW XM

Serving Atlanta, GA

For Atlanta-area drivers who demand the best behind the wheel, the BMW X7 has long been a top contender. This three-row, full-size model has been the flagship SAV in the BMW lineup until recently. In 2023, the XM will be introduced as the new flagship vehicle. It is a two-row, hybrid supercar with an unrelenting appeal. At Global Imports BMW, we want you to make a luxury SAV selection that delivers the performance you expect, and we are thrilled to introduce these options to you in full detail.

Performance

You can immediately appreciate these SAVs’ differences when you take them out for a test drive. The hybrid system in the 2023 BMW XM mates an electric motor with a turbocharged 4.4-liter V8 gas engine. The pairing gives you 644 total horsepower. The X7, on the other hand, is offered with two gas engine possibilities. These include a turbocharged 3.0-liter, turbo inline-six, 375-horsepower unit, and a turbocharged 4.4-liter, V8, 523-horsepower alternative.

Appearance

More differences are evident through a side-by-side comparison. The XM has dramatic styling, an edgy, geometric wheel design, and a special mesh pattern on the grill. This two-part grille is thickly surrounded by chrome, and narrow LED headlights, and tall vents flank it. A sharp, linear descent marks the profile through the roof. The X7 shows off thick headlights, angled air vents, and a classic, segmented grille design. The door panels are highlighted by a linear bar. The X7’s roof is long and flat.

Features

The XM and the X7 for 2023 have many features in common. These are wireless smart device app connectivity, heated seats, a premium audio system, a smart device charging station, a power sunroof, and a multi-zone automatic climate management system. The XM also introduces a few features. These are an LED-enhanced headliner, an augmented heads-up display screen, and an iDrive eight system with stacked display screens.
