2025 BMW 7 Series vs 2024 BMW 7 Series

Serving Atlanta, GA

The magnificent BMW 7 Series is the flagship sedan in the 2025 lineup. This full-size model is brimming with amenities and impressively styled with lavish upholstery and materials. Both the 2024 and 2025 versions of the BMW 7 Series are included in the model's seventh generation. However, there are a few important differences between them.

Performance

From a performance perspective, the 7 Series delivers the same high-powered, smooth performance across its trims for both model years. For both years, three powertrain options are offered. The entry-level system is a 375-horsepower 3.0-liter, turbo inline-six that comes with an eight-speed automatic transmission. A turbo inline-six with plug-in hybrid functionality is also available. It delivers a 33-mile all-electric range and produces 483 horsepower. The most powerful engine available for the BMW 7 Series is a turbo V8, 4.4-liter unit that generates 536 horsepower.

Appearance

The graceful styling of the BMW 7 Series is unchanged between the 2024 and 2025 versions. Its opulence is defined by a smoothly flowing profile that stands tall across the hood and roof. The nose is distinctly individualized and sporty with slender, linear LED headlights mounted above a horizontal element holding a pair of LED fog lights. The tall, dark grille is integrated with upturned molding for a commanding touch. The 7 Series for both model years is offered with exterior gear like a trunk lid spoiler, a power-operated trunk, rain-sensing wipers, soft-close doors, and 20-inch wheels.

Features

In 2025, BMW adds a few new tech features to elevate your driving experience. The iDrive infotainment system is now equipped with Siri voice assistance. This eliminates the need to push a button to talk. In addition, the 2025 BMW 7 Series adds a lane change feature to the hands-free driving function. Otherwise, all of the features offered with the 2024 7 Series are available in the 2025 model year. Some of these are color-changing LED lights on the panoramic sunroof, leather upholstery, a Bowers & Wilkins premium sound system, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, onboard navigation, a head-up display, a 14.9-inch infotainment system screen, a wireless charging pad, and numerous other high-end features.
