What's New for the 2025 BMW iX?
The BMW iX debuted in 2022 and impressed drivers in Atlanta and beyond with its exceptional power and handling. Its standout style and spacious, two-row cabin add to the appeal of this luxury SUV. The all-electric iX evolves in the 2025 model year with updated technologies.
The 2025 BMW iX's navigation system now has an upgraded interface, elevating your experience on the road. In addition, Digital Key Plus has been added to the My BMW phone app. The app allows drivers to view charging stations and pay for DC fast charging across six nationwide networks.
The captivating style of the 2025 BMW iX is unchanged. Its modern look is characterized by a tall, slender version of BMW's kidney-style grille. The sharp, triangular air vents span almost from top to bottom on the grille's flanks, and the slender LED headlights are dramatically angled. From the side view, the iX shows off two-tone wheels, molded fenders, and a sleek accent over the lower door panels.
The 2025 iX is engineered to perfection. Its all-electric powertrain accelerates up to 60 miles per hour in only 4.2 seconds and can come to a full stop in only 114 feet at that speed. There are two motor systems, and both have the same battery pack. The xDrive50 trim has two electric motors and puts out 516 horsepower. The battery range is 309 miles. The M60 trim also has two motors. It produces 610 horsepower and has a 285-mile range.
Inside, the iX has a modern look with a curved display screen on the dashboard that incorporates a 14.9-inch infotainment system screen and a 12.3-inch digital instrument screen. Standard features are a panoramic sunroof with electrochromic functionality, a 12-speaker audio system, synthetic leather upholstery, heated front seats, wireless smartphone apps, a wireless charging pad, a heated steering wheel, parking sensors, a blind-spot intervention system, forward collision mitigation, safe exit alert, and others. Features that are optional for the xDrive50 and standard for the M60 are a Harman Kardon or Bowers & Wilkins sound system, a head-up display, drive sound modes, automated parking, a 360-degree camera, and more.
